My friend Sherri has created an incredible line of products here in San Francisco and I am so excited to introduce my blog readers to this amazing line of indulgent spa products!
You can get them at one of my all-time favorite spots for shopping, at Beauty Company, and try them out with the mani/pedi services there as well! A few cool things: *Made with natural and organic ingredients *They use plant based preservatives *Junk free (they don't use any nasty chemicals) *No SLS *No SLES *No petro chemicals *Paraben-free *No Animal testing (duh) *No Animal products (so yes it's Vegan) Read more about what she has built, here: "Inspired by visits to European and Asian spas and old-world apothecaries, Ziesche creator Sherri Ziesche became passionate about launching a line of exceptional bath & body products for her San Francisco clients. She brought 20 years of experience as an aesthetician and the Founder of Beauty Company to the process, and she conducted extensive research to make certain the line exceeded all expectations. The result is natural, plant-based, clean, and biodegradable products that delight the senses and nourish the body. What further sets Ziesche apart is the customer’s participation in the creation of these beautiful and customized products. “I am interested in how things are made, where they come from,” Sherri says, “and I am so excited about inviting our customers to become part of the creative process, to be able to choose the essences that they are most drawn to.” Products that work and a personal touch are what make Ziesche a true San Francisco gem." #dbsobsessed

For some time now I have been having my hair done by Leeanne Rathmanner at Berenice Salon on Union in Cow Hollow. She is excellent at what she does and certainly qualifies as #dbsobsessed material.
The salon carries Oribe hair products, which are out of this world. Their dry texturizing spray will give any aerosol dry shampoo a run for its money, and I actually prefer it to the brand's actual dry shampoo. Leeanne herself has always done an amazing job with my blonde color, as well as my haircuts. Additionally, she is certified in the agave smoothing treatment, which I hear is the new keratin... If you have unruly hair, she also is certified in the Deva Cut, which I also hear great things about! 415.776.4610 1889 Union Street I just literally CANNOT with this BB cream from Dr. Brandt. It is seriously from 2067. You can see the product changing color to adjust to your skintone. SCIENCE!
#dbsobsessed Loving this new Bumble & Bumble prêt-à-powder It is a great non-aerosol option. Hello, carry on!
#dbsobsessed I went to the Lancome counter with some serious dry skin problems. I walked out with some of the products listed above, and after months of fine-tuning the process, I have an excellent daily regimen from them.
MORNING ROUTINE: 1. Creme Douceur Cleanser, used with a warm washcloth 2. Tonique Confort Toner 3. Advanced Genefique Youth Activating Concentrate 4. Bienfait Multi-Vital Sunscreen Lotion EVENING ROUTINE 1. Bi-Facil Makeup Remover 2. Creme Douceur Cleanser, used with a warm washcloth 3. Hydra-Intense Masque If you have dry skin, this regimen will really work wonders on regulating any problems. #dbsobsessed Prepare yourself for laughter. This blog is HILAR.
I Wore Heels for This is bound for glory. At Thomas Hill Organics (an incredible restaurant in Paso Robles, CA) the farmer/owner is also an artist. His work is amazing. I have drawings of a pomegranate and a fig hanging in my apartment in SF, which I will post about eventually. Where those images are elegant and refined, these (hanging in my parent's home) are fun and bright. Check out www.thomashillorganics.com for contact information and see what art they're currently showcasing. Affordable, original, beautiful. A real find. #dbsobsessed Check out 'An Inexpensive Redo That Made all the Difference' for the full story, but here is the 'office' update info:
Chair (which is teal, hard to photograph in the stunning natural light-- i am NOT complaining): Target Basket: Ross Desk: Was already in the room... Runner: Comptoir de Famille, from my days in Boston, when I worked there Dish and Milk Bottles: Antiques I already had Faux Flower Arrangement: Target Lamp: Target Making due with what I had and a few additional/affordable purchases never felt so good! #dbsobsessed While visiting my parent's house, I have spent as little time as possible in my bedroom. My family moved to their current house after I was already up and out. While I am lucky enough for them to have still built a room for me in this situation, the room itself was nothing more than a utilitarian mish-mash of items from the homes we lived in before moving here. The result... not so appealing. When working from home, I would use the dining room table, which led to many distractions as people came in and out of the house. As I decided to stay here for a week this time, it meant I would need to really take the time to put together a work space in my room. As I usually do, I went crazy with the idea of redecorating anything and went to town on the room. Not wanting to spend an insane amount of money, I went to Target, Ross and Michael's to come up with the updates you see to the bed, above. The result is comfortable, inviting and romantic. I LOVE IT! Pillows: Target Bedding (Sheets, Duvet Cover, Throw): Target Lamp Shade: Ross Faux Flowers/Vase: Michael's Candles/Holders: Found in the Laundry Room! |
