Being that I have been lucky enough to spend quite a bit of time in the sun this summer, and plan to continue to for as long as possible, I have been on the lookout for a facial sunscreen that I could wear on days when I also want to wear makeup! Found it! Oz Naturals Age Defying Solar Shield has SPF 30 and a medium tint that can replace my BB cream for those sunny days. Add a little powder or bronzer on top, to avoid any shine, and you're good to go.
As Oz puts it: "SAFE FOR ALL SKIN TYPES, this non-irritating, paraben-free sunscreen can be applied daily on the face and body, and can be worn alone as a foundation, or under makeup." I am #dbsobsessed and plan to keep this as part of my ongoing summer skin routine. GET YOURS NOW!

What a treat it was to attend the Rombauer Wine Dinner at Piatti Sacramento, this last Thursday. The food prepared by Chef Lance Carlini was impeccable, and a perfect pairing to each of the delicious wines from Rombauer. Check out the menu, complete with mouth-watering pictures, below!
Cabo gets a bad wrap. So many people hear that four-letter word and think 'SPRING BREAK'! As someone who loves Los Cabos, I felt that I should tell you all about the adult version of Cabo. The version filled with culture, exquisite food, luxury experiences and a multitude of activities.
Rule #1: Stay in San Jose del Cabo, or on the corridor between San Jose and Cabo San Lucas. You'll avoid the party scene (when you want to), and enjoy a quieter and more beautiful side of Cabo. Check out the galleries below for tips, tricks and suggestions for my perfect Cabo trip. The LookThe ViewsThe FunThe Eats and DrinksThe TownBringing Alfie into my life this year has been the best choice I could have made! What a sweet little creature to love and be loved by. Thrilled to be celebrating #NationalDogDay with my little nugget. Here are some of my favorite of his many glamour shots:
Time for yet another book update! It must be summer, with all the poolside book time I have been able to get in! I found some great ones in this batch, and can't wait to share. I hope you enjoy!
Much like everyone else, I read The Girl on the Train, and loved it. As many reviewers mentioned, this thriller is perfect for anyone who loved the books by Gone Girl author, Gillian Flynn.
Sorry for the hiatus folks! Playing catch up after my time out of town has meant fewer posts, BUT on the flip side, I have some VERY exciting things to share with you in the coming weeks. So, stay tuned and get excited.
In the meantime, get your nerd on, like me, and get into ADULT COLORING BOOKS?! Here is my first creation, along with info on the book.
As one of the most popular CSAs around, I am sure many of you have heard of Farm Fresh to You.
My favorite things about this particular CSA: wide delivery coverage, ability to manage account (including choosing what is in your box, schedule and skip boxes) through their very user-friendly site, and incredible produce and locally made artisan foods. Being particularly impressed with this week's box, I had to share! This just in, fellow low carb people: I have discovered the greatest sugar free pudding flavor around... WHITE CHOCOLATE. Get it. Newest DBS obsession: bath salts from the San Francisco Bath Salt Company. While I have never been to the tourist trap of a shop (and probably never will), they are available online. What I love about them: very reasonable prices for the large amount of product per package, incredible scents like lavender, eucalyptus and more, real muscle tension relief. #dbsobsessed |
