Books, wonderful books!
I found some great ones in this last bout of reading, and I hope you too are #dbsobsessed with at least a few of them!
It Was Me All Along by Andie Mitchell
A great book about one woman's journey through weight loss. I loved how she addressed the ways in which she did not find it to be all good, in that her weight loss impacted her in many more ways that just physically. A short and quick read that I think is worth picking up for any woman who has struggled with weight, particularly those who struggled in their younger years.
I read quite a few books by Harlan Coben, and while I can't say they were the best books I have ever read, they were all at the very least, entertaining. I find myself having to skim some sections of ongoing internal dialogue, and suffer through many eye rolls as the author tries (and fails) to integrate anecdotes on modern technology. BUT, like I said, entertaining stuff. Without a doubt, great beach reads.
I read, and enjoyed, the following:
Gone for Good
Looking forward to seeing some of them made into movies, which I have heard is in the works...
Empty Mansions is a MUST read! I did not know anything about the Clark family that is chronicled here, and they are such an incredible American story. For anyone who loves a good story about an abandoned mansion, this is for you.
